The SEMEDFIRE project team of the Advanced Partner Nîmes Métropole presented the project to a selected array of officials in the historical caste of Générac.
Following the presentation of the project, a discussion took place with the Mayor of the Commune of Générac, the Vice-Mayor of Nîmes and elected officials.
The meeting and presentation falls under the ongoing preparations of Nîmes Métropole for the upcoming actions of Work Package 6 (WP6). The actions include two Staff-Exchange Twinning visits, one Hands-On-Training and one Field Exercise. They will be organised in Cyprus and France, in collaboration with the General Direction of Civil Protection and Crisis Management of the French Interior Ministry, who is leading the specific Work Package. The planned exchange visits, training and field exercise are taking place between October 2024 and April 2025 in Nîmes, Paris, Aix-en-Provence, Nicosia and other selected locations, in an effort to fully achieve WP6’s targets for knowledge, experience and data exchange with the European University Cyprus – CERIDES project team.
